Nashua, NH Forest Fire, May 1896

New-Hampshire Woodland's Burning.

NASHUA, N. H., May 19.---A heavy forest fire is reported in the vicinity of Pennichuck Pond, and it threatens the destruction of many acres of woodland. The Fire Department has been called out from this city. Immense volumes of smoke are now pouring from the fire, which is spreading rapidly among the dry underbrush.
