Hudson, NH House Fire, Mar 1949

Hudson, March 19---Hudson Fire Department was called to the Ayers Pond section at 11:55 last evening for a fire which partially destroyed a small two or three room house occupied by Mr. and Mrs. St Onge.

The couple were not at home at the time of the fire, the cause of which is still undetermined. Although the damage was considerable, and many of the family possessions lost, the building was not wholly destroyed, due to the prompt and efficient action of the fire department.
