Portsmouth, NH Piscataqua River Drowning, Apr 1870

FOUND DROWNED.----The body of Thomas Callahan of York, Me., was found in the Piscataqua river at Portsmouth on the 15th. A big splash was heard one night four months ago, at a Portsmouth bridge and Callahan, who had been round, was missed the next day. The remains were in a bad condition.
