Portsmouth, NH Horse Accident, May 1910


George A. Batchelder of North Hampton, the well known horse man, with a painful accident this morning. He was engaged in harnessing a horse when the animal sudenly[sic] turned in such a manner as to break the bones of the right hand, the knuckles bones being forced through the flesh.

The injured member was dressed by Dr. H. A. White.
