CHURCH BURNED AT WADSWORTH
The Catholic Congregation Suffers Heavily
House of Worship and Its Contents are Totally Destroyed
The Catholic Church at Wadsworth, a frame structure worth about $2,000 was burned to the ground yesterday morning, the building and contents being a total loss. The origin of the fire is not known.
the church had stood for a number of years and was in good repair and its loss is a hard blow to the little congregation that sustained it. It caught fire about 3 o'clock in the morning and the fire had a great headway when discovered. Wadsworth has practically no fire protection and it soon was in ashes. The contents of the building were also lost.
The congregation will rebuild at once but have formulated no plans at this time.
