Pioche, NV Fire Destroys Business District, Sept 1871

The whole business portion of Pioche, Nevada, has been destroyed by fire. Five lives were lost and many persons were wounded by an explosion of powder. No other particulars are received. Loss, $2,000,000 or $3,000,000.
