Las Vegas, NV Student Pilot Jet Crash May 1953
Pilot Is Killed As Jet Crashes
The Air Force has identified a student pilot killed in the crash of an F-80 Shooting Star jet plane near Las Vegas as 2nd LT. ROMAN S. DOMECKI, 23, of Milwaukee, Wis.
DOMECKI'S plane crashed 60 miles northeast of there on Monday while the young Air Force flyer was on a combat crew training mission for jet fighter pilots.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Domecki of Milwaukee and a graduate of Marquette University.
