Business District and Many Dwellings in Nevada City Destroyed.

Tonopah, Nev., July 8.-Two blocks in the business district of Tonopah were destroyed by fire early to-day. Scores of volunteers joined in the fight against the flames. Several office buildings were destroyed.

Many dwellings were also destroyed. The loss is estimated at about $250,000. The Tonopah Daily Bonanza is probably the heaviest loser. The paper’s building was destroyed. The cause of the fire is unknown.
