ROWBOAT SWEPT OVER FALLS.

Principal of School and Primary Teacher Are the Victims.

Norfolk, Neb., July 29.---A rowboat carrying Miss Anna McBride and Carroll Powers was swept over the dam in the Elkhorn river and both occupants were drowned. The boat floated into the swift current and became unmanageable.

Mr. Powers, who was 25 years old, was the principal of the Norfolk high school, and Miss McBride was primary teacher. Powers' father was formerly attorney general of Nebraska. Miss McBride is a sister-in-law of Superintendent Reynolds, of the Chicago & Northwestern.
