Village Destroyed by a Tornado in Nebraska

VILLAGE DESTROYED.

Omaha, July 2.----Mail advices states that the entire village of Meridian, Jefferson county, Nebraska, was totally destroyed by a tornado on last Saturday.

Alexandria, a small town in the same county was also badly damaged. No loss of life.
