SKATING INJURY IS FATAL.

KIMBALL LAD RUPTURED VEIN IN BRAIN WHEN HE FELL.

Kimball, Neb. (AP) -- Injuries suffered while ice skating killed FLOYD EVERTSON, 17, Saturday night. Although there was no external head injury, young EVERTSON fell last Thursday, rupturing a vein at the base of his brain. No symptoms were apparent until Saturday night. Then severe headaches set in and he died within three hours.
Severe jolts to his body, his physician said, apparently were responsible for the internal hemorrhage. The doctor said the case was "very unusual." His parents Mr. and Mrs. George Evertson of Kimball, four sisters and a brother survive.
