Serious Wreck of a Northern Pacific Passenger Train Near Heron, Mont.

RAILWAY DISASTERS.

HELENA, Mont., March 25.---The east-bound passenger train on the Northern Pacific was wrecked near Heron this morning, six miles east of the Idaho line. The engine went through a culvert, and the express, mail, baggage, and sleeping cars, and the first-class coach were ditched. The cars took fire, and all were burned except two sleepers. Express Messenger Miles was killed and the following were injured, none seriously: A. Crockett, postal clerk; Mrs. S. H. Cox, of North Yakima, Wash.; Mrs. Lillie Davis, of Seattle, and her daugher Carrie; J. W. Weedom, of Dayton, Wash.; J. P. Zahn, of Seattle, Wash.; J. H. Richards, of Randall, S. D.
