WYOMING CAR CRASH KILLS SIX PERSONS.

BABY, TWO CHILDREN AMONG VICTIMS; TWO OTHERS INJURED.

Rawlins, Wyo. (AP) -- Six persons, inclulding an infant and two children, were killed late Thursday in a head-on collision of two cars near the Continental Divide on U.S. 30, about 26 miles west of here.
Only two persons survived the crash.
MRS. LELIA CAGLE was in very critical condition in Carbon County Memorial Hospital here. She suffered a crushed skull. The driver of the car in which she was riding, GEORGE PAULI, was in serious condition with multiple cuts and broken bones.
The ages and home towns of the survivors and the dead were not immediately available. Sheriff's deputies said the cars bore California and Colorado license plates.
The tow children who died in the accident were the children of MRS. CAGLE. Their sex and names were not available.
The infant, also unidentified, died in an ambulance en route to the hospital in this southern Wyoming town. It was riding in the second vehicle, all of whose occupants -- apparently three adults -- were killed.
The tragedy occurred at dusk one mile east of the Continental Divide. The highway at that 7,200 foot altitude is icy and snow-covered in spots.
