Glasgow, MO Truck And Bus Accident, Dec 1946


Glasgow, Mo., Dec. 28 (AP) -- Five of 17 passengers on a Santa Fe Trailways bus were killed and eight injured when the swaying rear end of a truck trailer crashed into the side of the bus on a small bridge near here Friday.
The impact ripped a hole six feel long and four feet high in the side of the bus. The dead are:
CLARENCE FAINTER, of Springfield, Ill.
Also four Missourians, including a 25-year-old mother, MRS. MARJORIE WHITE, Hale, Mo., and her three-month-old son.
