Larrabee, MO Train Accident, Dec 1893
IDENTIFIED BY HIS BROTHER.
Gottfried Klopfeinstein Was the Chicago Man Killed at Larrabee, Mo.
MEXICO, Mo., Dec. 28.---Special Telegram---A stranger stepped into the Sheriff's office here this afternoon and gave the name of the young tramp killed by Thomas Quinlan at Larrabee Friday night. The stranger said to the Sheriff:
"I am the brother of the young man killed in this county Friday night. His name was Gottfried Klopfeinstein, and his home was No. 1007 West Twenty-second street, Chicago."
Quinlan has been refused bail since the investigation Tuesday. Klopfeinstein went to his brother's grave at Sturgeon this evening. He will exhume the body and send it to Chicago for burial.
