Drown in Reservoir.

Homer Boyd, operator and assistance agent for the Rock Island at Cameron, was drowned in the city reservoir at that place Wednesday morning. Boyd and his ten year old daughter had gone to the reservoir to fish. A fish was hooked and pulled the line out into the water. Boyd started in pursuit and stepped into a deep hole. It is thought he was seized with cramps. His daughter stood on the bank and watched her father drown, being unable to give assistance. Two men who were on the bank of the reservoir also, saw Boyd go down but as they could not swim they were unable to help him. The body was recovered. The widow and two children survive.
