Clay, MO Lightning Strike, Sept 1875

On the body of Stanislau Morrel, who was struck by lightning at Clay, Mo., the other day, was found the delicately traced outlines of a tree near which he was struck, every limb and leaf being imaged in fine red lines on the skin.

Instances of this sort have been frequently reported; but with what accuracy is hard to say.

Galveston Daily News, Galveston, TX 19 Sept 1875
