Hollandale, MS Fire, Feb 1904
TOWN WAS DESTROYED.
Fire Burned All But Two Buildings in Mississippi Village.
Fire at Hollandale, Miss., has destroyed every building in the town, except two dwellings, and caused a loss estimated at from $130,000 to $20,000. The fire started in a negro restaurant situated in a row of frame buildings, and a high wind fanned the flames to such proportions that the volunteer fire fighters could not stay its progress.
