Serious and Fatal Wreck on the Baltimore & Ohio

Mansfield, O., Dec. 6. - A serious wreck occured about 4 o'clock this afternoon on the B. & O. three miles west of here. A work train en route to Newark crashed head end into the west bound freight No. 99. which was leaving a sidling. F. R. WOODWARD of Newark, conductor of the work train, was killed. He leaves a wife and children. Harry PETERMAN, of Newark, engineer, was fatally injured. The other men injured were the fireman on each train and a brakeman on the work train.
