Winona MN Barn Fire July 1905

FARM BUILDINGS BURN.
Winona, Minn., July 29.---During a thunderstorm this morning the barn of Albert Shields of the town of New Hartford was struck by lightning and the place burned to the ground with all the contents. Included in the loss were four horses, 100 bushels of oats and the entire new hay crop which had been stored in the mows. The loss is total.
