Brunswick Hotel Destroyed by Fire with Loss of $150,000.
Minneapolis, Minn., Dec 12. -- The Brunswick hotel, Fourth and Hennepin avenue, was destroyed by fire last night when a blaze said to have originated in the basement. It is one of the oldest hostelries in the Twin Cities and is in the heart of the business district.
The hotel was crowed at the time the fire was discovered and it is thought that several may have perished in the flames. The loss will be in the neighborhood of $150,000.

Many Driven to the Street When the Brunswick Burns In Minneapolis.
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., Dec. 11.---The lives of 200 persons were endangered this morning when fire destroyed the Brunswick, the oldest of the large hotels in this city, at a loss of about $100,000. It is believed all the guests escaped.
The fire started in the basement under a café and spread to the whole structure. Patrons of nearby hotels were aroused and hurried to the street by the firemen, who feared a spread of the flames.
