SECTION MAN IS GROUND TO PIECES

HANSON MIXED UP IN A BAD WRECK ON NORTHERN PACIFIC NEAR UNDERWOOD.

Herald Special Service.

Fergus Falls, Feb. 6.-Ground to atoms was the awful fate of IVER HANSON, a section man, in a bad wreck on the Northern Pacific near Underwood, ten miles from here, this afternoon. Four cars and an engine were wrecked and others are badly damaged. An east bound mixed train ran into a string of box cars distributing cinders along the track. The engineer and fireman jumped and escaped injury. HANSON, however, fell under the cars and was dragged several feet and then the body was torn and literally ground up.
