RAILROAD STATION IS DESTROYED BY FIRE
(News Tribune Special.)
ASHLAND, March 22.----The station of the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis & Omaha railway company at Ashland Junction caught fire and was totally destroyed together with its contents. Agent Rounsvell who has charge of the water tank had gone over to inspect it and when he started back to the station saw it was a mass of flames. He immediately telephoned the Ashland fire department and the chemical engine was rushed to the junction but not in time to save the structure. Mr. Rounsvell, who resides in the second story of the depot lost all of his household possessions, clothes, etc., and the railroad company's loss was a total one. Mrs. Rounsvell, wife of the agent was at Ashland when the fire started. The loss will be about $4,000 which was covered by insurance.
