STORE IS DESTROYED BY FIRE AT BANNING
(News Tribune Special.)
SANDSTONE, Minn., Dec. 19---The general store of J. R. Johnson at Banning a small hamlet four miles north of here, was totally destroyed by fire. The building was a two-story frame structure and small insurance was carried on it. The loss of the stock will amount to about $2,000. The members of a family living over the store barely escaped with their lives. The origin of the fire is unknown. The proprietor of the store is a newcomer here and but recently took possession of the store.
