THROWS BOY IN THE LAKE.

Iowan Said to Be Responsible for the Drowning of a Boy in Minnesota.

Stillwater, Minn., July 15.---Will Johnson, aged 16 and an employe[sic] of a trained animal show, was drowned at Lake St. Croix. After the performance this afternoon a number of employes[sic] went to the lake to bathe. It is alleged that another employe[sic] named Watkins, becoming angered at Johnson, threw him into the water. The boy was unable to swim and was drowned before assistance could reach him. Watkins escaped. Johnson's home was in Bloomington, Ind., and Watkins came from Sheldon, Ia.
