THREE WERE DROWNED
Two Girls Lose Their Lives Trying to Save a Brother.
A terrible case of accidental drowning occurred one mile and a half above Anoka, Minn., on the Rum River. The following are the victims:
MISS LIZZIE MURPHY and MISS NELLIE MAHONEY and the latter's brother, JOHNNIE MAHONEY, aged respectively twenty, seventeen and eleven.
They were in bathing and the little boy got beyond his depth. In trying to save him the girls went under, and they were all drowned together.
