Duluth, MN electricity accident, Jun 1908

HITS LIVE WIRE AND HIS LEG IS BROKEN

William Curry, aged 40 years, a lineman with the Duluth Edison Electric company came in contact with a live wire while working on a pole near Seventh avenue east on Superior street yesterday, and was knocked to the ground. He sustained a broken leg and several bad bruises. His escape from death is considered a miraculous one. He was taken to St. Mary's hospital where it was found that his injuries were not serious.
