Lost in a Fire in a Training Stable.

The Total Loss Is Above $30,000.

Detroit, Mich., March 29.---Seventeen race horses and promising colts were burned to death today in a fire which destroyed the training stables of Frank H. Colby, the well known driver and trainer in Highland park.

Among the horses destroyed were the following:

RED ROYAL, 2:24½.
HARRY P, 2:23¼.
THE KING, 2:26½.
MALDEN QUEEN, 2:13¼.
MONEO, 2:32½.

The total loss is $30,000.
