Dies Hero's Death.

Hart, Mich., Dec. 20 (UP). Eleven-year-old Virgil WALKER died a hero's death Sunday trying vainly to save his brother, George, 14, from drowning in East Roswell Lake.

The boys accompanied their father to the shore of the lake in search of a Christmas tree. While the parent was felling a pine tree the boys began sliding on the ice which extended a few feet out from shore. George fell off into open water. Virgil was pulled in to die with him when he attempted a rescue.
