FIVE-YEAR-OLD HERO RISKED LIFE TO SAVE BABY BROTHER AND SISTER.

Bay City, Mich., March 8. -- DEWEY NELSON, aged five, earned his right to his baptismal name to-day by carrying a younger brother and sister, clad only in their night clothes, out of their burning home in the face of danger to himself, the flames surrounding him as he took the youngest one out of the house and burning the little one's hair from its head.
The NELSON family live in Bangor township and are so poor that the mother had to put two children, aged two and three, to bed while she washed and dried their clothes for Sunday. Then she went to a neighbor's on an errand. The house caught fire during her absence.
