Detroit, MI Buggy Hit By Train, May 1889


Detroit, Mich., May 20. -- JOSEPH BECHARD, of South Denver, was struck and killed by a Michigan Central train Friday night. The horse, which he was driving, was also killed, and the buggy was demolished. MR. HUTCHINS' double team was struck by another Michigan Central train near Windsor, Ont., a little later, and both horses were killed. HUTCHINS was severely injured and may die.
