BOMBER CRASHES, EXPLODES ON FARM.

Memphis, Mich. (UP) -- A twin-engined army bomber crashed and exploded on a farm two and a quarter miles southwest of here Saturday. Police said either four or five persons were killed.
The bodies were removed to nearby Selfridge field for identification.
Investigating officers from the army air base said it appeared the plane was flying to Washington, D.C., when it crashed. They said they could not ascertain immediately the craft's starting point.
Memphis Police Chief MERLE CLARK said it was impossible to tell whether there were four or five victims because the bodies were so badly mangled.
Casualties:
T/Sgt. HARRY L. WIDEK, Coraopolis, Pa.
Col. REUBEN C. MOFFATT, Falls Church, Va., chief of the Army Air Forces planning division.
Capt. ERNEST D. SCOTT.
Two Sailors, names not released pending notification of next of kin.
