Hyannis, MA Private Plane Crash, June 1966
SIX IN FAMILY PERISH IN PLANE CRASH.
Hyannis, Mass., (AP) -- A father, mother and their four children were killed Sunday in the crash of a single-engine private plane at Barnstable Municipal Airport.
The parents were identified as DR. ARTHUR T. SUGINO, 41, and his wife, RUTH, 46, of Los Angeles, Calif., by the medical examiner, Dr. Robert S. Thorpe.
Dr. Thorpe said four children were, CATHERINE, 18, VICTORIA, 14, CRAIG, 12, and SANDRA, 8. The family was of Japanese ancestry.
The plane, a Beechcraft Bonanza, plunged into woods about half a mile from the airport's westernmost runway, during a landing attempt about 12:30 p.m.

Sugino family
Victoria (Vicki) Sugino was a student at Le Conte Junior High school Hollywood, California. She was valedictorian of our class graduation 1966, and died tragically soon after that. Thank you for posting this article.
