Germania Mill Presents Aid Association With $50 for Good Work at the Fire In the Mill on June 25.

The Germania mill has presented the firemen's relief association with $50 as a token of appreciation of the fine work done by the firemen at the fire in the Germainia mills the night of June 25. The fire broke out in the storage-room and there was every indication for a time that the whole structure was doomed and only unusually efficient work prevented the ruining of the plant. The damage, as it was, amounted to about $2000. The check was handed to Assistant Chief Reilly when he called at the mill on other business. A letter of thanks to the firemen was given with it, and both are much appreciated by the firemen.
