Northampton, MA College Lodging House Fire, Sep 1906
STUDENTS IN FIRE SCARE.
Northampton, Mass., Sept. 25. -- Thirty Smith college students were driven out of their lodging house last evening by a fire which considerably damaged the building, known as Owl's Nest.
The loss is estimated at $5,000. The fire caught from a stove in the basement.
