TWO DROWNED IN POTOMAC.
Boys Meet Their Death While Bathing Near Cumberland

Cumberland, Md, June 30--- JOSEPH HAUSMAN, aged fourteen years, son of William Hausman a West Virginia Central car inspector, and HERBERT HAUSMAN aged eleven, son of Jacob Hausman, of this city, were drowned this afternoon in the Potomac River while bathing. It is supposed that Joseph Hausman was seized with cramps and his younger cousin went to his rescue, and the struggles of the drowning lad carried both of them down.
The clothes of the two boys were seen on the bank of the river about 4 o'clock in the afternoon, and the lads were not in sight. This led to an investigation, and Edward Borehead and John Libel dived and brought the bodies to the surface.
