LOCOMOTIVE EXPLOSION---THREE MEN INJURED.

PORTLAND, Me., March 25, 1852.

Yesterday, the locomotive "Oxford" drawing a heavy train, on the Androscoggin and Kennebec railroad, when near the Danville junction, burst her boiler, shivering the machine to atoms. Mr. Frank, engineer, Mr. Stowe, conductor; and George Kilborn, fireman; were severely blown many feet into the air, but neither of them was fatally injured.
