PLANE CRASH COSTS FOUR LIVES.

BODIES OF FOUR BOMBER CREWMEN FOUND IN MAINE WOODS.

Bangor, Me., Nov. 18 (AP) -- The bodies of four Army men were found Monday beside crumpled wreckage of their B-18-A bomber that crashed in the trackless boglands 60 miles from the Northeast Army Air base they missed on a foggy flight last Saturday night.
None of the bodies were burned nor were they badly broken. They had been hurled about 100 feet from the wreckage.
Fire had followed the crash, but little of the wreckage was charred and the flames evidently were confined chiefly to the cabin.
Soldiers were sent into the woods today to cut a trail over which the airmen could be borne to canoes on the Passadumkeag River for the jouney
out to civilization.
The four crewmen were:
Second Lieut. P. W. BECKHAM, 28, Houston, Tex., pilot.
2nd Lieut. WYMAN O. THOMPSON, 21, Underwood, N.D., co-pilot.
Corp. J. L. PARSON, Holbrook, Pa., engineer.
Private First Class L. E. ROTHERNAL, radio operator, Valley View, Pa.
The bomber took off from Langley Field, Va., on Saturday.
