TORNADO CAUSES DAMAGE IN LOUISIANA FARM COMMUNITY.

Angie, La. (AP) -- The Southeast became the nation's major weather battleground and the winter fury was concentrated upon the little town of Angie, La.
A tornado ripped through the town before dawn, flattening a school building and whisking away a home while the family slept inside. Seven members of the family were blown into a field and a total of nine persons were injured, none seriously.
The twister destroyed several other homes and tossed a car 500 feet in its sweep through the Louisiana farm town.
