TWO DYNAMITE STICKS

With a Battery Attached Made a Combination That Gave a Kentucky Man a Horrible Death.

Paris, Ky., April 27.---William Florence, an employe[sic] of the East Tennessee Telegraph company, met a horrible death while engaged in blasting post holes this afternoon near town. He had in his pocket two sticks of dynamite and battery attached. The battery dragged on the ground while he walked toward the hole, and, catching on something, caused it to go off. His whole left side was torn to pieces.
