20 DIE IN KY. PLANE CRASH AT TRAMMEL.

AMERICAN AIRLINES TRANSPORT PLANE CRASHES IN HILLS.

New York -- The American Airlines office here announced today that 20 persons were killed last night in the crash of a Louisville to Nashville passenger plane at Trammel, Ky.
Only two of the 18 passengers, including a baby, and the crew of four survived, the company said.
The survivors, GLENN FELLOWS of Dallas, Tex., and S. K. HOFFMAN, no address, were taken to Bowling Green, Ky., and are expected to live.
The plane had left Louisville at 9:54 p.m. CWT on what is known as flight 63 and nothing further was heard of until the crash was reported at 10:30 p.m.
The dead included:
B. H. ANDERSON, Nashville.
MRS. LUCY BRASLEY and Baby, Nashville.
COOPER, no address, (a man).
COMINEX, no address, (a man).
Lieut. RICHTER, Nashville.
H. A. SEILLER, pilot.
R. H. McCLURE, co-pilot.
JOSEPHINE KANE, stewardess.
Capt. B. A. CARPENTER, who was accompanying the flight for a routine check.
EUGENE LEBENGUTH, 313 N. Wilson Blvd., Nashville.
The plane, the company said, crashed in a hilly section and was reported to have burst into flames. Investigators were dispatched to the scene.
Two survivors, both brought to the Bowling Green hospital, were:
1st Lieut. GLEN W. FELLOWS, 5th Flying Group, ferrying division, air transport command, Love Field, Dallas, Tex.
S. F. HOFFMAN, 41, chief engineer for the Lycoming Division of Aviation, Inc., Williamsport, Pa., (Wife's address 215 Hartswick Ave., State College, Pa.)
