Marion, KY Bridge Collapses, Aug 1887

KILLED BY A FALLING BRIDGE.

Henderson, Ky., Aug. 19. -- A small bridge in course of construction near Marion, Ky., fell yesterday afternoon, killing the foreman< WILLIAM McCARROLL, of Owen Sound, Ont., and fatally injuring FRANK SOLGUES, carpenter, of Gallipolis, Ohio. JOE REILLY, a laborer, had an arm broken, and WILLIAM L. GORDON, resident engineer, of Madisonville, Ky., had his left leg broken, and was other wise badly hurt.
