DESTRUCTIVE STORMS IN KANSAS AND MISSOURI.

Kansas City, Mo., May 15. -- The recapitulation of last night's storm, which was general over northwestern Missouri, Eastern and Central Kansas extending into Oklahoma, and which in places reached the proportions of a tornado, shows three known dead, six others missing, and fifty-five injured, at least a half dozen of the latter seriously hurt.
The principal damage was done at Hollis, a town of 150 inhabitants near Concordia, Kansas, and at Mount Washington, Mo., eight miles east of Kansas City. In both of these places practically every house was either damaged or demolished, and dozens of persons injured.
The known dead are:
FREDERICK JEARDOE, boy, Hollis, Kansas.
WILL ELLIOTT, carpenter, near Joplin, Mo.
WILLIAM ACKLEY, member Santa Fe railway bridge gang, working near Great Bend, Kan.
The missing are:
CHARLES QUANCE, a ranchman near Larned, Kas.
Five members of the family of a farmer named ECKSTROM, near Hollis.

Many Hurt at Kansas City.
Kansas City, Mo., May 15. -- Twenty-five persons were hurt, many seriously, and much property damaged by a tornado which struck Mount Washington and Fairmount Park, suburbs of Kansas City, late yesterday. It is believed five of the injured will die.
A heavy wind, accompanied by a blinding rain and hail storm, prevailed throughout the city. Much minor damage was done, and traffic of all kinds seriously interfered with.

Three Killed By Tornado.
Concordia, Kas., May 15. -- Three persons were killed and ten or more injured by a tornado which wrecked the town of Hollis, near here, late yesterday. Every building in the town was wrecked or badly damaged.

Two Killed Near Grand Bend.
Hutchinson, Kas., May 15. -- At least two people were killed and fifteen injured by a tornado in the vicinity of Great Bend last night. Scores of houses were wrecked.
