TORNADO STRIKES AT SMALL KANSAS TOWN.

Hardtner, Kan., June 2. -- A small garage was demolished and a house was blown from its foundation by a tornado which struck the northwestern edge of Hardtner this afternoon. The tornado cloud passed over here and dipped at the edge of this small Barber County town, just a few miles north of the Kansas-Oklahoma boundary. No one was injured. A heavy rain, accompanied by some hail, preceded the tornado.
