A BLAZE IN A KANSAS TOWN
The Loss is a Mound Valley Fire Estimated at $30,000
MOUND VALLEY, KAS., Feb 27. -- The second big fire in a month broke out here at 3:30 o'clock this morning, nearly devastating the business section. Hulen's new opera house, valued at $12,000, and much of the contents were total loss. Other buildings burned were Bird's restaurant, Nicholas's restaurant and Lon Wadsworth's barber shop. The total loss was about $30,000.
