Hoxie, KS Storm, Jun 1908

SALINA, Kas., June 1.---A storm passed within half a mile of Hoxie, Sheridan county, to-night and destroyed all the buildings on the ranch of E. T. Crum. Crum and his two sons sought shelter in a cellar and escaped injury. The path of the storm was 100 yards wide and two miles long. Fences and trees and buildings in this path were carried away. Hail fell over a large district. A two-inch rain fell in Sheridan county. Telephone wires are down.
