A TORNADO NEAR ATCHISON.

ATCHISON, Kas., May 13.---A tornado passed three miles southwest of here between 5 and 6 o'clock this evening. It is impossible to ascertain the extent of the damage, but it is known that the home of John Hall, a farmer, was demolished. Hall's wife, who was the only person in the house, has a fractured skull and other injuries. Buildings belonging to Julius Roloff, R. A. Park, J. N. Demoret and Mrs. Mollie Brown were damaged. All rural telephones are disabled in the district affected, and little information are that the tornado traversed only a few miles of territory.
