TWENTY HURT IN TRAIN WRECK.

Milwaukee Passenger Collides With Handcar in Iowa.

Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Aug 20 – Passenger train No. 3, on the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul railroad, was wrecked at Keystone, 30 miles west of here.

Twenty persons were injured, several seriously. The wreck was caused by the train colliding with a handcar on a 20-foot embankment.

Among those injured are Harvey Wooley, of Toronto, Mo., and Ira Robinson, of St. James, Mo. Both were painfully bruised.

PASSENGER WRECKED BY COLLIDING WITH HAND CAR ON EMBANKMENT.

Cedar Rapids, IA, Aug 19 – Passenger Train No. 3 on the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul railroad was wrecked today at Keystone, 30 miles west of here. Twenty persons were injured, several seriously. The wreck was caused by the train colliding with a hand car on a 20 foot embankment. The injured included C.T. McElwaine, express messenger, serious; F.C. Myers, postal clerk, serious; Baggage-man Doland, serious; F.W. Stockton, conductor, serious; David Reynolds, Marion, IA.; Frank Micheal, fireman; Carl Mershon, Owlwein, IA, possibly internally injured; Harry Steinberg, news agent; Harvey Wooley, Toronto, Mo.; Ira Robinson, St. James, Mo.; Adolph Johnson, Marion, foreman of a bridge gang.
