Gilbertville, IA Creamery Accident, Sept 1889

At a creamery near Gilbertville, Iowa, Friday, John Harrig, 14 years of age, was caught by a shaft of the engine and whirled around the pulley. His skull was fractured and an arm, leg, and shoulder were broken.
