FREIGHT TRAIN WRECKED.

One Tramp Instantly Killed but Seven Others Escape.

MUNCIE, Ind., May 10.---One of the most expensive wrecks that has occurred upon the old Bee line division of the Big Four for years happened two miles from Farmland at 1 o'clock yesterday. Eastbound freight No. 90, running at the rate of 40 miles an hour, was ditched by the spreading of rails. The engine and six cars passed in safety, but the next 18 cars were piled in every direction. Fifteen of the wrecked cars were refrigerators loaded with dressed beef.

It is known that seven tramps were upon the train, but all of them except one turned up. The other was buried in the debris. He was probably instantly killed. His name is unknown.
